I believe that Yoga is more than just a physical practice. It is a way of being that integrates mindfulness, self-awareness, quiet space & calm presence.
My goal is to help you cultivate these qualities by offering practices that spark your curiosity and enhance your daily life.
Tania fell in love with creative movement from a young age, through classical ballet and dance. She discovered Yoga in 2003, and became a dedicated student for many years while pursuing a career in education. Tania loves to teach fluid, playful flows but primarily specialises in Yin Yoga. Her teaching technique integrates a mixture of Eastern Philosophy, Hatha Yoga, Chinese Medicine Theory and Mindfulness practices. She encourages her students to deepen their understanding of the physical body through the postures and to tune in to the innate wisdom of their bodies. Tania loves to watch her students grow through experimentation and exploration, to be curious and to find their own unique way to express their practice. Her classes are functional and expressive, blending philosophy, anatomy and breath work. Tania is a crystal enthusiast and healer. She leads workshops on how to integrate crystals into everyday life and as healing tools. She also runs sacred circles to honour the cycles of nature (Solstice and Equinox) and is a Yin Yoga Teacher Trainer. “Drop from your head to your heart, think less and feel more”…is a quote that inspires her to stay present and connected through love.
Through the many offerings at Humble Warrior Yoga, I aim to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for individuals to explore the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga. I believe that yoga is for every body, and cater for your needs, by balancing strength and softness.
I offer a variety of classes for all levels, including flow, hatha, and my favourite, yin yoga. My classes are designed to help you to better understand yourself, build strength, increase flexibility, in both mind and body and promote a sense of ease.

This introductory 25-hour training will offer you time and space to immerse in the theory and application of Yin Yoga, offering a comprehensive foundation for those looking to deepen their personal practice or wanting to develop their confidence to teach.
Yin Yoga is more than just stretching, when skilfully applied, it can help to regulate the nervous system, and create stillness within the body and the mind.
There are many ways to teach and practice Yin Yoga. This training will include conversations around different approaches, the hows? and the whys?. It will focus on the practical application and integration of the concepts studied.
Under the guidance of Tania Perry, one of Melbourne's most dedicated and passionate Yin Yoga teachers, you will journey into “The Quiet Practice” and explore ways to cultivate a more meaningful experience for yourself and for your students.
The course will provide you with essential tools and techniques to better understand the subtle nuances of Yin Yoga, including the relevant anatomical and energetic principles.
This Yin Yoga Teacher Training will work to expand your knowledge of how to practice and effectively teach some of the primary Yin Yoga Asana, including how to prop and modify. It will explore the principles of teaching in a functional way, and include an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. The 20 hours is structured to cater for all types of learners, including various teaching methodologies, a mixture of lectures and practicum, with time dedicated to review, discuss and apply what we learn.

Tania will also share her personal insights from years of study with some of the world’s leading Yin Yoga and TCM experts, as well as from her eleven years of teaching Yoga and wisdom gained through teaching thousands of public classes during this time.
